The venue for the conference is the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT), Faculty of Architecture. It is one of the oldest engineering schools in central-Europe. It was founded in 1707 as a school of Engineering (now Faculty of Civil Engineering), and architectural education already started in the first half of the 18th Century. Two years after the foundation of the independent Czech-Slowak Republic the school was renamed in 1920 to Czech Technical University, including the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In 1960 the independent Faculty of Civil Engineering was created, and in 1976 the independent Faculty of Architecture. The Faculty of Architecture therefore has its roots in the over 300 year's tradition of CVUT and the outlook of a young faculty.

In 2011 the Faculty of Architecture moved to the new Faculty of Architecture Building. The building is designed by Prof.ing.arch. Alena Šrámková, ing.arch. Lukáš Ehl and ing.arch. Tomáš Koumar. It will be the venue for the 30th International eCAADe conference. The building is located in the campus of Czech Technical University in Prague, which lies in the district called Dejvice. Dejvice is near the well-know Prague castle and also relatively close to Prague international airport Ruzyne.

Welcome cocktail The venue for the welcome cocktail is Villa Richter, located right next to Prague Castle, on the slope with a great view over Prague. Villa Richter has it's own wineyard.
